What is your flag rooted in? Meet Chadd Wright

Great leaders INSPIRE. That is the focus of these 10 High 5’s. Great leaders use their inspiration to help serve others. Today, you will find out about a leader who has inspired me to see a trait that I want to have. I want to help others be able to define the very values they have rooted deep in their heart

The definition of Rooted: “establish deeply and firmly.” These values allow that are established deeply and firmly allow you to plant that flag in the ground. To stand tall and unwavering in the face of trial.

There will be times when people don’t agree with you and that is okay. By being rooted in your values, allows others to see you bent, pushed, and pulled, and yet still standing when the storm fades weary. This is an excellent display of leadership and could inspire the one person that needs it.

One of the people I learn from daily is Chadd Wright. He is a former Navy Seal, a brother in faith, a wild and crazy long distance runner, and one of the most firmly rooted people I know. He is so rooted in his values that when he speaks, you can feel it. It doesn’t matter where you are in your beliefs or “religion,” you can still get the tug from the ticker when he talks. I have never seen a leader who guards his flag more fiercely. Whether it is faith or family, Chadd stands tall. He inspires me to do the same!

If you are searching for your beliefs and values in which you can be rooted in, I urge you to take note and write down those values you have close to your heart. Ask yourself what would I be a crusader of? What would I fight for? Not just what you would die for, but what would you live for? If you know what you truly want to live for, you know what actions you can do to inspire others.
