Does Your Team/Business Operate with these 3 in mind?

Often times, we give ideas, thoughts, solutions, and perspectives to help teams improve. Many times leaders will come back from a seminar or clinic with 20 things their team should implement because someone at a “higher level” does it that way. It might be too much. What if we got it down to even simpler? What if we narrowed it down to these 3?

RESPECT- Does your team operate with the highest respect towards one another, up the chain, down the chain, with the custodial staff, with management, with leadership, with supporters, and with the lives affected by our reach or product? What does this look like for you and your team?

TEAM FIRST- What is the team’s mission? Is what you’re doing, something that moves your team closer to the goal or mission? Always remember that there is no one individual that is greater than the team. Each member provides their unique set of skills in order for the team to achieve its full potential.

PERFORMANCE- Seek to give exceptional performance. It doesn’t matter if you are making the french fries, make the absolute best tasting french fries every single time. If you are in charge of complaints or the relationship manager, seek to provide exceptional service that leaves that person feeling heard and confident. Each moment, each door you walk through, is a chance to bring new energy that enhances the performance of you and your team.
