TESTING CURRENT ABILITIES

Yesterday we touched on the mountain climb and the fact that we are going to get struck with hurdles, obstacles, and challenges. Society says they are bad. They are harmful. They paint the pity party as something you should be doing when you get hit with these times.

We say otherwise. We NEED challenges. We NEED friction. The challenges, adversity, and obstacles force us to use our talents, our skills, and our abilities.

This is where we can evaluate and determine how well our skills are. This is where we can go back to the lab and refine those very skills. What are we great at? How can we go deeper into what we are great at and become even better?

You cannot evaluate without the challenge. You cannot prove your level of skills without first being tested. The only way for you to know where you are is by getting in the ring with another boxer (person). It is time to go toe-to-toe with another so that you can see where your skills actually lie.

If you win, what did you learn? If you lost, what did you learn? How well did you do what you are good at?
