Morning Cup of ☕️ - Details in Conversations

Good morning to you! I hope you got your cup of coffee ready and if you are drinking decaf, we will still have the jolt for you. Grab your team, discuss this thought with them, and create one amazing quick conversation.

When was the last time you changed someone else’s mind? When was the last time you were in a conversation where they changed your mind? I bet it has been quite a while or maybe you can’t even remember.

The goal of every conversation is to get a little deeper. It is when arguments occur and a lack of listening ensues that hurts us. Nobody has ever yelled at someone and as a result forced a change of the mind. The yelling occurred and instead of understanding, a few more bricks have been added to the wall between the two people.

We need to focus on having multiple conversations. Asking questions. Getting deeper and finding a little more behind the person. Every person carries a back pack of residue with them. This is baggage from previous experiences that have helped shape their perspective. If you don’t listen to find what is in the backpack you won’t be able to shift perspective.

Hope this helps you and your team. God Bless
