Build Your Community. Today’s challenge is the start of you being able to find your community. There is so much power in COMMUNITY. It surrounds everything we do and almost any decision we make. Whether it is a boardroom decision in which your push in a direction impacts your employees, shareholders, and their families, or its the super intendant in charge of the school district. A mother or father staying at home has their immediate community (family) and hopefully a few others.
We were in a meeting yesterday and we were talking about how strict one leader is with their “boat.” He focuses on the select people in his boat. My question to you today is to find the people in your boat. Find at least 3 but no more than 6 who you know are willing to challenge you, who you can go to for help, who think and act differently than you. This will serve you in the future. This will help make you a better YOU. We need more of you in this world.
