We covered 3 people already this week. Today is 4. Today we bring up the Challenger.
The Challenger is one that does two things.
They bring a level of experience to you, your circle, and use the experience to help level you up. You bring them into your circle because they have been successful in the areas you need to elevate your game. As a result of their experience, they are able to hold you to a standard you created. The challenger comes into play when you deviate from the standard.
Accountability is the second piece the challenger provides. The challenger holds you to the level of accountability needed. They can hold you accountable via communication daily, weekly, or monthly. Are you doing it in the way you committed to? If you aren’t, the challenger calls you out and encourages the change.
In order to have both of these, you need TRUST. You can’t have standards or accountability without trust. The challenger does their job, but you must be willing to listen to them and make necessary changes.
